BTCC: Gow announces Jack Sears Trophy

BTCC cars (photo by Marc Waller)As the BTCC circus settles down for the winter break, series director Alan Gow has announced the championship’s incentive to award the top performing S2000 driver of the season with a trophy named after the first ever winner of the championship.

James Birch takes Porsche GT3 cup challenge GB crown

James BirchJustin Sherwood and James Birch took a race victory apiece in the final two rounds of the Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge GB at Silverstone (6/7 October) and it was Birch who emerged as Champion as the series guested on the BTCC support programme.

Season ends with a win for Gail Hill

Gail Hill The final double header of the season was at Donington Park to be followed two weeks later at Oulton Park with the final round of the Jaguar Classic Parts saloon championship.

End of season success for Rally2Raise team

Rally2Raise team The Rally2Raise team of Aberdeen’s Rachel Medich and Morecambe’s Katherine Begg enjoyed a very successful end to their rally season when they won the fastest female crew award on the Colin McRae Forest Stages as well as finishing 43rd overall and 6th in class.
