Andy NeateAndy Neate today announced his plans for the 2013 Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship.

Having made his tin top debut in 2010, Neate has raced for three different teams but for 2013, has decided to take the plunge in running his own team.

Newly formed IP Tech Race Engineering will run a NGTC-spec Chevrolet Cruze - adding another Chevrolet to 2013's grid line up.

On the switch, Neate spoke to btcc.net and said; "If there's one thing I know it is how to put together a really good team of people.

"I have absolutely no concerns at all either about the build quality and strength of the Cruze. RML, who have run Chevrolet's title-winning World Touring Car programme for the past eight years, have fabricated the car, although we will do the rest ourselves."

Also making touring car headlines today are Cicely Racing, who have released images of their Toyota Avensis' 2013 livery.

Adam Morgan will drive the Avensis for the season, having spent 2012 under the Speedworks Motorsport banner.   By Nikki Thompson
