BTCC Brands Hatch (photo by Marc Waller)At an increasingly cold Brands Hatch it was Pirtek Racing’s Andrew Jordan who took the fastest time this session in his Honda Civic with reigning champion Gordon Shedden in second.

Plato, pace setter in the first session was in third this time. Three of the four Toyota Avensis filled the top ten this time with Ciceley Racing’s Adam Morgan the quickest of the trio in fifth just behind Matt Neal. Jeff Smith continued his good day putting his Civic in sixth just ahead of Wrathall and Newsham in Dynojet and Speedworks Avensis respectively. Sam Tordoff was closer to his team mate Plato this time in ninth with Colin Turkington completing the top ten. The Team hard squad continued their development work on their new cars with Jack Goff the best in 21st. The fastest Jack Sears trophy runner was this time Lea Wood in his family run Vectra just ahead of the AMD VW Golf driven by veteran touring car driver James Kaye.
