Toyota locked out the front row at Silverstone, the opening round of the World Endurance Championship. The No.7 Toyota Gazoo Racing car driven by Mike Conway and Kamui Kobayashi combined to set average of 1m36.015s, with Kobayashi setting the fastest lap of weekend so far with a time of 1m35.992s.

The UK round of the 2019 European Le Mans Series was won by the No. 28 IDEC Sport Oreca with Memo Rojas taking the chequered flag after the No. 26 G-Drive Racing Aurus pitted for fuel four minutes before the end of the race.

The sun was shining at Silverstone for qualifying for Round 4 of the 2019 European Le Mans Series. Each of the three classes had 10 minutes to set their fastest lap to form the grid for the 4 Hours of Silverstone.

Vauxhall reports today that sister brand Opel has become the first vehicle manufacturer in the world to offer an electric car for customer rally sport. Based on the Corsa-e, the electric competition car will make its world premiere at the IAA Frankfurt International Motor Show on 12th to 22nd September 2019.
