RAM Racing’s successful pursuit of TF Sport resulted in Ian Loggie and Callum Macleod winning British GT’s blue riband, three-hour race – the Silverstone 500 – in thrilling fashion earlier today, while Team Parker Racing’s Nick Jones and Scott Malvern also sealed popular first GT4 victories after coming so close on two previous occasions this year.
Andrew Jordan took his first British Touring Car Championship double win in more than five years as the Pirtek Racing driver dominated the first two races at Thruxton in the BMW 3 series. The reverse grid race was then won by Josh Cook in his BTC racing Honda. won the final race in Hampshire.
The Gineta GT5 Challenge two female drivers, Katie Milner and Abbi Pulling were both in action last weekend as the championship supported the BTCC at Thruxton in Hampshire. Both drivers were hopeful of good weekends. Milner has always gone well there and Pulling had a strong test there not long before the weekend.
Despite it being already more than a third of the way through the year, last weekend Lydia Walmsley and her team headed for Snetterton for the first rounds of the year of the Mini challenge Cooper classes.
