Gordon Shedden has taken victory at the final Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship at Thruxton.
The result sees Honda Racing lead the way after Shedden’s team mate Matt Neal settled for second after his two earlier race wins.
Andrew Jordan brought the Pirtek Honda Civic home in third, with Jeff Smith having to settle for sixth after some slight contact with Neal in the closing laps.
Pole sitter Jack Goff lost the lead early on, with Plato taking the position from a defensive Jeff Smith. Holding an impressive lead, a puncture in the final stages saw Plato lose the lead to Shedden.
Lea Wood takes home the Jack Sears Trophy race win in his Wheel Heaven/Houseman Racing Vectra.
The action resumes in five weeks time as the circus moves to Oulton Park.
A race day review will soon be available with highlights from all of today’s racing from Thruxton.
