This is a quick story to introduce you to the team.

Owned by Shaun Hollamby, the team first joined the BTCC for the 2010 season with an S2000 specification Volkswagen Golf Mk5. The car was brought from abroad but was almost totally rebuilt by the team. Shaun himself raced during that first season and then for 2011 the team did a deal to run the highly rated Tom Onslow Cole. Initially things went well but unfortunately Tom chose to leave the team at the Oulton Park round. Shaun returned to drive the car initially before the team signed Martin Byford to drive for the rest of the season. In 2012 Ollie Jackson joined the team to drive the Golf and the team had their most successful season with the Golf as Ollie scored points in all but two rounds.

Things initially went well with James scoring several victories in the class. Later on in the season the team swapped to an ex Honda racing S2000 Civic but funding issues saw them miss rounds. For the final rounds at Brands Hatch, Shaun returned to the driving seat to give the old golf one last chance of glory. He achieved it magnificently with victory in the Jack Sears trophy allowing Shaun to finally stand on the BTCC podium himself.

For 2014 the team have a new challenge with a Motorbase built Ford Focus built to the latest NGTC specifications. They have hired race winner Dave Newsham and although the field is one of the toughest for many years, the team have high hopes for their best year yet.

Various members of the team will show you their side of things through the season with photos taken from the garage, pitlane and on the grid to give you an idea of their view of the championship while doing their various jobs.

First up is Jo, the 2014 grid girl who you will recognise from our Grid girl interview last season. By Marc Waller
