Andrew Jordan ruled fit to race at Snetterton after practice crash on Saturday

Andrew Jordan (photo by Marc Waller)Andrew Jordan will be able to take part in today’s BTCC rounds at Snetterton after the BTCC medical team ruled him fit to race.

Jordan crashed out of first practice yesterday heavily damaging the rear of his Pirtek Racing Honda Civic. It initially appeared that he had escaped unscathed but a medical examination found he had slight concussion and it was decided he shouldn’t take part in the rest of the day as a precaution.

This means Jordan will start race one from the back, alongside Fabrizio Giovanardi who has a penalty from Croft. Jordan himself along with Ebay Motors also had a penalty but both successfully appealed. Jordan now still starts from the back but for entirely different reasons!

The first race gets underway at 12:02pm with Plato on pole from Turkington. By Marc Waller
