Rebecca to take to the streets of Pau in her KTM

Track action

Track actionThe street circuit in France is very technical and challenging which means Rebecca and fellow Reiter Young Stars drivers will be tested this weekend.

Rebecca says: “It’s the most difficult race of the season according to our driver mentor Thomas Enge but I’m really looking forward to the experience of driving the KTM on the road, because that’s basically what you’re doing on a street circuit. It’s the perfect warm up for Le Mans really, albeit a bit more narrow!”
The first race took place at this track in 1933 – the only difference being its deviation through Parc Beaumont where the start-finish straight was. The track has hosted everything from Formula 3 to the World Touring Car Championship.

The excitement begins on Friday with two practice sessions, which will complement the three hours off-circuit training Rebecca has done to learn the track. Qualifying and race one (which goes into the night) will take place on Saturday with a final race on the Sunday. Both races are 50 minutes long with a pit stop to allow for a driver change.
