Hughes won’t be the only female in the team as Sarah Moore, 2009 Ginetta Junior champion, also joing the team.

They form part of a four car team with Hughes and Moore in the Mighty Minis and Josh Young plus Connor O’Brien in the Super Mighty minis.

Hughes is excited;

“2017 is looking to be an extremely exciting year! I’ve not only re-joined the Mighty Mini Championship, I’ve been offered a drive with Agouti Motorsport, making it a strong team of 4 drivers.“

She continues;

“The team not only compliment each other on the track, we also compliment each other off track as we all specialise in different areas of the commercial aspect of Motor sport, which simply completes the team.”

So when does the championship start?

“The first round of the Mighty Mini Championship is located at Silverstone on March 25th & 26th which will be on Live TV, definitely not one to be missed!”

The Agouti team is backing a charity for it’s 2017 season too;

“Agouti Motorsport is partnered with the Children’s Air Ambulance and it thrills me to be supporting and backing such a fantastic organisation. They fly critically ill children across the UK to receive the specialist care that they need. Every day in the UK, there are two children who need their help and I can only assume that number will increase over time so we’re here as a team to help promote and publicise the awesome work that they do.”

Hughes feels positive that they should have a good season;
