reading the paper with your coffee, putting on your favourite slippers, and kicking back on the sofa ready to enjoy the latest F1 event on the TV.

Formula 1 motor racing is, without a doubt, one of the most popular sports in existence, and this has been the case for quite some time now, with many big betting sites like findbettingsites.co.uk offer odds and bonuses for upcoming grand prix . From Schumacher to Senna, there have been some truly exceptional F1 drivers over the years, but whom do we consider to be the best? Well, we couldn’t possibly name just one, so instead, we’ll be looking at three F1 racing drivers whom we consider to be three of the greatest of all time.

We’re sure you’ll agree with some of the names below, and no doubt you’ll disagree with others. Take a look at who we consider to be three of the most famous F1 drivers of all time and see how many you agree with.

Mika Hakkinen

The first driver on our list today is the charismatic Mika Hakkinen. This Finnish former racing driver is considered by many fans of the sport to be one of the best to ever grace the cockpit.

Over the span of his illustrious career, Mika was able to land himself 2 F1 championship wins, 20 career wins in total, 51 finishes on the podium and 420 total career points.

After he retired from F1, Mika proved he still belonged behind the wheel as he drove in the DTM series. For his debut in 1991, he finished in 13th place at the US Grand Prix, and just six years later, after a career threatening injury, he was able to win his first international victory at the 1997 European Grand Prix.

Stirling Moss

The word ‘legend’ is thrown around a lot nowadays, especially on social media. Whereas few people actually live up to the mantle, Stirling Moss most definitely did as he is considered to be a true legend of the racing world.

Considered the greatest driver to never win the world championship, Stirling Moss achieved 16 career wins in total, and 24 finishes on the podium.

This English F1 driver competed between 1951 and 1961 and was the first British F1 racing driver to ever win a British Grand Prix whilst driving a British-made car. He achieved this feat in 1955, four years after making his pro debut.

Ayrton Senna

Ayrton Senna was a former Brazilian F1 driver who was, without a doubt, the fastest driver of the 90s.

He has 3 F1 championship wins, 41 wins in total, and finished on the podium 80 times, making him one of the most successful F1 drivers in the history of the sport.

Sadly, at the San Marino Grand Prix in 1994, Senna was involved in an accident on the track and tragically lost his life.

A true credit to the sport of F1, he is, and forever will be, deeply missed.
