New BMW X3 M50 xDrive Black Package

BMW X3 M50 xDrive Black Package

BMW’s new X3 M50 xDrive makes an even bolder statement this season. From December, the M Performance model will be available with a striking Black Package, amplifying the BMW M character already woven into its design. Under the bonnet, the 3.0‑litre straight‑six petrol engine receives a notable power lift, now delivering 326 kW (443 hp). Alongside this, the entire BMW X3 range benefits from targeted updates, further refining performance, comfort and overall appeal.

Available exclusively for the BMW X3 M50 xDrive, the Black Package adds striking interior and exterior accents with motorsport-inspired details. The exclusive 22‑inch Polygon 1134 M Black light alloy wheels add one inch to the tyre portfolio of the BMW X3 M50 xDrive. Further M light alloy wheels are available as optional extras. The callipers on the M Sport brakes feature an exclusive high-gloss black finish and are decorated with a monochrome M logo. The Black Package renders the M logos and the model badges in high-gloss black with a silver outline.

The carbon look and extensive Alcantara finish in the interior create the direct motorsport connection. Parts of the driver’s side instrument panel, the area in front of the central display and the smartphone tray with inductive charging are finished in black BMW Individual Alcantara. This material is also used for the door trims and the armrest in the centre console. The M Logo on the headrests is embossed on the Alcantara surface. The specific black Alcantara/Veganza seat covers boast blue stitching and piping. A flag in the M colours is visible on the black floor mats with blue piping. Selected control elements in the interior have been embellished with the BMW Individual CraftedClarity glass application. The M steering wheel also boasts an exclusive airbag impact absorber in leather.

The heart of the BMW X3 M50 xDrive has become even more powerful. The performance of the 3.0-litre M TwinPower Turbo straight-six petrol engine with 48‑volt mild hybrid technology is increasing by 33 kW (45 hp) to reach 326 kW (443 hp). The BMW X3 M50 xDrive can now sprint to 100 km/h from rest in 4.4 seconds. Applying the 1-foot rollout method2, the 100 km/h mark is reached in an even quicker 4.1 seconds. All BMW X3 M50 xDrive models benefit from the performance improvements, which are not dependent on the Black Package. This engine meets all the stipulations of the Euro 7 emissions standard.

All models in the BMW X3 series will be available with interior enhancements from December 2026. The area in front of the central display comes with a PVC Softskin surface, while the instrument panel is finished with a new stitching pattern. The storage compartment in the centre console and the inside door handles are provided with ambient lighting. These features are complemented by a new design for the glove box opener and stainless-steel edge guards for the boot sill3. All BMW X3s with the M Sport Package and all M Performance models will have entry sills in Dark Silver with a black M logo. The four-cylinder engine in the BMW X3 20 xDrive4 is now compliant with Euro 7.
