BTCC Donington Park practice 2

BTCC action (photo by Marc Waller)Pirtek’s Andrew Jordan took the fastest time in the second session today, by less than two tenths of a second from Jason Plato’s KX Momentum MG.

Gordon Shedden could only manage the third fastest time in his Yuasa Honda Civic despite leading for most of the session. This was still better than His team mate Matt Neal who dropped to fifth in this session. Sam Tordoff was the man to split them in fourth. The three Avensis of Dave Newsham (Speedworks), Frank Wrathall (Dynojet) and Adam Morgan (Cicely Racing) were next up in sixth, seventh and eighth respectively. Jordan’s team mate, Jeff Smith was ninth with Aron Smith the best of the Airwaves cars in tenth. Ebay Racing (WSR) struggled with Colin Turkington the best of their cars in twelfth. James Kaye was again fastest of the S2000 cars in his VW Golf with Liam Griffin taking second. The times weren’t quite as close this time with only the top nine separated by just over a second.
