Iron Dames at 24 Hours of Le Mans: Scrutineering and Test Day

in preparation for the 24 Hours of Le Mans, which starts at 4pm on Saturday 15 June, the “Every Dream Matters”, car was presented for the first time on Friday 7 June in the city centre for the traditional ‘scrutineering’ technical inspection.

2024 is the Iron Dames’ sixth consecutive participation in the famous French endurance race and this year’s driver line-up features Sarah Bovy, Michelle Gatting, and Rahel Frey
 
This year’s car, is the #85 Lamborghini Huracan LMGT3 Evo2 and involved a number of school children in the creative design of the car’s livery which captures the essence of childhood imagination. Every Dream Matters is a unique project that combines education and cutting-edge technology.

The Iron Dames finished the six hour Test Day for the 92nd 24 Hours of Le Mans, held at the circuit on Sunday 9 June, 47th overall and eighth in the LMGT3 class.

Commenting after Test Day Rahel Frey said: “It was a long day and the first time our car has been on this circuit, so we have a lot of work to do.”
