The #94 Peugeot and the #78 Akkodis ASP Lexus will start the TotalEnergies 6 Hours of Spa
Francorchamps from pole position in the Hypercar and LMGT3 classes respectively.
Malthe Jakobsen captured a thrilling pole position for Peugeot ahead of the TotalEnergies 6 Hours of Spa Francorchamps after peaking on a best lap of 2m00.653. in the #94 Peugeot 9X8 Hypercar.
“It’s the best feeling to drive this track on low fuel and new tyres, and I’m very happy for the team,” enthused Jakobsen, after pipping Cadillac’s Will Stevens to the prime spot by a scant 0.043 seconds. “This is a great boost for everybody in terms of motivation to keep working hard. It really shows that even though we’ve had a challenging past couple of years, everything is possible and you should never, ever give up.”
Will Stevens just failed to beat the Dane’s time with a late effort of 2m00.696s, a mere
0.043s off the Peugeot. The qualifying session ahead of the Hyperpole session witnessed Charles Milesi set a best lap of 2m00.808s in the #35 Alpine Endurance Team entry.
Both of the Toyota Racing entries and the #51 Ferrari AF Corse and #83 AF Corse Ferrari 499Ps failed to make it out of the qualifying session

Francorchamps, seating an unbeaten 2m16.612s lap in the #78 Akkodis ASP Lexus LMGT3 car.
The reigning Le Mans Cup LMP3 champion powered to a brilliant pole in his debut FIA WEC season to beat the Zacharie Robichon driven #27 Heart of Racing Aston Martin Vantage by 0.194s.
David’s teammate Tom van Rompuy had only just made it through to the Hyperpole 0.067s Prior to the Hyperpole session, Petru Umbrarescu topped the times in the other Lexus, the #87 Akkodis ASP car and ensurd that the Lexus made it through to the Hyperpole with a best effort of 2m17.225s.
