Despite all the Joy, anger, celebrations and protests over the EU on Friday, the Goodwood Festival begun its three main days unaffected with barely a mention of political goings on elsewhere at what is an international event.
There are two very big festivals on this weekend; both are a bit muddy (Thanks British Summer!), both are in places beginning with G and both have live music (Yes, really!).
Visitors to Goodwood’s Festival of Speed (June 23-26) will be the first to witness the new Jaguar F-TYPE SVR as it makes its UK dynamic debut next weekend.
There are an estimated 5,000 motorsport events held in the UK annually, from club events and open days through displays and motor shows to the F1 British Grand Prix.
