Pedrosa in front in Le Mans MotoGP Practice

Dani Pedrosa (photo by MotoGP)Spain’s Dani Pedrosa led the way at the Monster Energy Grand Prix de France.

The Repsol Honda rider set the fastest time of the second practice session with a time of 1.34’035 holding off his team-mate Marc Marquez and Factory Yamaha’s Valentino Rossi.

Taking fourth was current World Champion Jorge Lorenzo following the Spaniard was LCR Honda’s Stefan Bradl who completed the top five, the German rider will be hoping make up the points after crashing last time out. Monster Yamaha’s Cal Crutchlow took sixth with the Ducati duo of Andrea Dovizioso and Nicky Hayden closely behind. GO&FUN Honda Gresini rider claimed ninth spot with Power Electronic Aspar rider Aleix Espargaro rounding out the top ten. By Laura Turner
