Repsol Honda Marc Marquez set the pace in both practice sessions at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli, ahead of his team-mate Dani Pedrosa.
Yamaha’s Valentino Rossi led team-mate Jorge Lorenzo to take third and forth, the team will be testing out the new Seamless transmission this race weekend.
It was a fantastic performance from the Power Electronic Aspar Team and their rider Aleix Espargaro who took fifth and pushed back GO&FUN Honda Gresini rider Alvaro Bautista. In seventh Ducati’s Michele Pirro who beat the factory Ducati of Andrea Dovizioso who had to settle for eighth. Following on was LCR Honda’s Stefan Bradl, and rounding out the top ten is Monster Yamaha Tech3 rider Cal Crutchlow. By Laura Turner
