Pedrosa leads day two of MotoGP testing in Malaysia

Dani PedrosaWith a cooler track Spain’s Dani Pedrosa led the way as day two of testing got underway at the Sepang circuit in Malaysia, with Aleix Espargaro again showing his pace by clocking the second fastest time of the day.

GO&FUN Honda Gresini’s Alvaro Bautista finished third. 

In fourth was Valentino Rossi with tyre problems still the main issue for both Yamaha riders Rossi said “We’re suffering because with this tyre our bike becomes difficult to manage. Tomorrow we will try again but we don’t have much that we can do”. Andrea Dovizioso was the fastest Ducati rider in fifth he was followed by German Stefan Bradl the LCR Honda rider put in a solid run for sixth place. Dovizioso’s team-mate Cal Crutchlow managed seventh. Monster Tech3 Yamaha’s rookie Pol Espargaro came in just ahead of a disappointed Jorge Lorenzo with Team-mate Bradley Smith completing the top ten. By Laura Turner
