Yamaha’s Jorge Lorenzo led the way in the first free practice session at the Gran Premio Red Bull de la Republica Argentina,
with a time of 1’42.804. NGM Forward Racings Aleix Espargaro and GO&FUN Honda Gresini’s Alvaro Bautista completed the top three.
Pramac Racings Andrea Iannone took fourth place the Italian was followed by Monster Yamaha’s Bradley Smith. Smith’s team-mate Pol Esparagro followed on just behind in sixth. LCR Honda’s Stefan Bradl wasnt far behind taking seventh fastest of the first free practice session. Ducati’s Andrea Dovizioso, Aspars Nicky Hayden and Yamaha’s Valentino Rossi rounded out the top ten. By Laura Turner
