Repsol Honda rider and current MotoGP World Champion Marc Marquez took a hat-trick of wins after dominating the Argentina GP.
Taking second was team-mate Dani Pedrosa with Yamaha’s Jorge Lorenzo taking third.
In fourth Lorenzo’s Yamaha team-mate Valentino Rossi , who fought his way back through the field to finish just off the podium. LCR Honda’s Stefan Bradl finished in fifth place with Pramac Racings Andrea Iannone in sixth, finishing in his highest position so far in the premier class.
It was a good day for the Monster Tech3 Yamaha team with both riders of Bradley Smith and Pol Espargaro finishing in seventh and eighth respectively. After a tough race, Ducati’s Andrea Dovizioso finished in ninth and it was a good day for Hiroshi Aoyama crossing the finish line top open rider with tenth place. By Laura Turner
