Repsol Honda’s Marc Marquez led the way in the second free practice session at the Jerez circuit in Spain.
Aleix Espargaro managed second on his NGM Forward Racing machine, after leading this morning’s session with a time of 1.39’357 he remained the fastest rider overall. Ducati’s Andrea Dovizioso’s took third.
In fourth was Yamaha’s Valentino Rossi, who came in just ahead of his team-mate Jorge Lorenzo . Sixth to eighth was filled with Honda riders, starting with Repsol’s Dani Pedrosa, GO&FUN’s Alvaro Bautista and LCR ‘s Stefan Bradl. Pramac Racings Andrea Iannone and Aspars Nicky Hayden completed the top ten. By Laura Turner
