Repsol Honda’s Marc Marquez claimed another stunning pole position at the Monster Energy Grand Prix de France,
the Spaniard’s record breaking ways continued as he made it 5/5 during qualifying. it was a brilliant outing for rookie Pol Espargaro who set his highest place in second and in third Ducati’s Andrea Dovizioso.
Leading the second row is LCR Honda’s Stefan Bradl, Yamaha’s Valentino Rossi took fifth while team-mate Jorge Lorenzo just behind in sixth.
GO&FUN Honda Gresini’s Alvaro Bautista, NGM’s Aleix Espargaro and Repsol Honda’s Dani Pedrosa completed the third row. Bradley Smith took the final place in the top ten on his Tech3 Yamaha machine. By Laura Turner
