Repsol Honda rider Marc Marquez cruised to another win at Catalunya as his dominant season continues,
the Spaniard gave home fans something to cheer about as he held off Valentino Rossi to take his seventh win. His team-mate Dani Pedrosa took third place after a near miss with Rossi on the final lap.
Yamaha’s Jorge Lorenzo had to settle for fourth place he was never able to match the pace of the top three riders today. Germany’s Stefan Bradl took fifth on his LCR Honda machine. Taking sixth and seventh respectively was Aleix and younger brother Pol Espargaro.
Completing the top ten was Ducati’s Andrea Dovizioso, Pramac racings Andrea Iannone and Tech3 Yamaha’s Bradley Smith.
